John Hyland

Born in Middlesborough, England

currently retired, and living in Bristol.

I have aways been interested in art. And from my earliest memories I have been painting and drawing. Obtaining a CSE from Falmouth Secondary School in 1973 where it was my intention to go on to do art at A level and later to enrol in the Falmouth School of Art on a Foundation course. Regrettably those plans never happened and instead  I embarked on a long career in electronics Firstly in the RAF and after in the NHS. I am after 40 years I have  fully retired from my work as a Medical Electronics Technician with the NHS in the Bristol Royal Infirmary. And prior to that St Micheals Hospital.

Only in the last twelve years or so, have I picked up the art where I left off all those years ago. I have no formal art qualifications, I have decided to showcase some my artworks both on here and at Trinity Henleaze URC. Where  all this work I do for my personal pleasure but always hope some may sell as well.
